Garlic #Butter #Chicken #Thighs #and #Rice #Recipe

Bursting with wealthy buttery garlic taste and comfortable bird thighs, that's a one pot bird and rice dinner bound to provoke even the pickiest eaters!


    1 yellow onion, diced
    four big cloves garlic, minced
    1-1/2 cups lengthy grain white rice
    1-1/2 cups low-sodium, fats loose bird broth
    1-1/2 cups hot water
    1/2 teaspoon dried Italian Seasoning
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    chopped recent parsley, for garnish
    6 skinless, bone-in bird thighs
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon dried thyme, or any different dried herbs of your choice
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    salt and recent flooring pepper, to taste
    four tablespoons butter


    Preheat oven to 350F.
    Season bird thighs with paprika, dried thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper; set aside.
    Add butter to a big oven-safe skillet and melt over medium heat.
    Stir in diced onions and garlic; prepare dinner over medium warmth for three to four minutes, or till garlic is calmly browned, stirring VERY frequently. DO NOT burn the garlic.
    Stir in rice; stir usually for 30 seconds.
    Place willing bird items over rice, and upload the bird broth and water.
    Season with Italian Seasoning and oregano, and deliver to a boil. (You too can upload extra salt and pepper at this point, if desired.)
    Cover skillet with a lid or aluminum foil and move to preheated oven; bake for 30 minutes.
    Remove lid or foil and maintain to bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or till liquid is absorbed.
    Remove from oven and permit stand 5 minutes.
    Remove bird from the pan and fluff up the rice with a fork.
    Garnish with parsley and serve.

Recipe Notes

    Use bone-in skinless bird thighs; with skin-on, the dish seems very greasy. We also desire to make use of bone-in thighs simply due to the fact they may prepare dinner within the similar time simply due to the fact the rice.
